I came out in 1993, before text messaging. I met a few Trans girls searching for a place to hang out. Nobody wanted us in the gay bars and nobody wanted us in the Lesbian bars. It was a scary time. But I found a home in a small bar in South St. Louis to meet up with friends. I moved to California after I retired and have never looked back. Long Beach is my home now. And what a great place to live. Huge community and lots of great people. As some of you may know, host karaoke I few nights a week. I’ve done this for about 12 years. It’s a great experience and so fun! I’m also a board member with Long Beach Transgender Pride. It’s a great event and a special day for all of us. And… we’re always looking for volunteers
The Queen Mary in Long Beach California
The Queen Mary in Long Beach California has been a favorite spot for my partner and I. They have this great retro bar with karaoke or live music. But on this day we went for the Sunday brunch. Beautiful day and great food. A day with the Queens

I volunteer with Transgender Pride Long Beach as a board member. It’s extremely important, especially now. I encourage everyone of you to get involved with our community. It’s very rewarding and fun.
The Great Pandemic

One of the biggest sponsors of the Transgender Erotica Awards is T-Girl Nights. Which most of you know is my longtime friend, Jamie Jameson. She usually seats her friends around her table, to watch as she presents the awards. We love going and it’s a great night to wear those gowns. TEA AWARDS, Los Angeles California.

Took a day trip to Oceanside California by train. Great shopping experience and even better food! Traveling by train along the ocean is such a treat. Put on those short, shorts and GO!
